Long tiring day!

I know better to stay up late and try to get up early with the kids. It just doesn't work. We went to visit with my sister and then to my brother's house yesterday so we got home late last night and I, of course wanted my internet time. So I got on the internet and go to bed way to late. So therefore I didn't want to get up this morning. I was a grouch and Lukas was a grouch. So nothing got done till dad got up. Then Jacob mowed the yard. I was getting the truck packed for the lake. Dad made his own food. Lukas was napping and Payton was just hanging out.

Menard's was having a Grand Opening this week. So they were having some famous people for signing autographs. We went to see Rob Dibble and got baseball's signed. My brother (works second shift) wanted me to go get a ball signed for him and I wanted to take Jacob. My brother ended up meeting us there, he had been able to get off work after all. That was cool, I had some adult conversation for an hour and a half while we waited in line.

Oh yeah and I got 11 inches of my hair cut off today. Yeah I can't believe I had that much hair. I have always been one to change hair color or style a lot. But recently haven't been doing that. I have just been getting a trim every now and again and letting it grow. Well lately I have been getting really sick of it. So bye bye hair. I donated it to Locks of Love.

Just a little something!!

I have been trying to figure this Smilebox thing out. Here is what I have for now.

Rain Rain Go Away!!!

We have gotten so much rain all my Summer days are ran together with siblings fighting and whining. I hope this next week will be nice. I would like to spend some time getting my tan back and swimming.

We are going to the lake for the week of Fourth of July. Hopefully boating, fishing, playing together, visiting family and enjoying time together.

I have heard firecrackers all over town all day today. My dogs are outside right now barking because of them.

Terrible two's huh!!!

I don't know who ever came up with it but terrible two's weren't as bad as terrible four's for Payton. My gosh she has been horrible lately. She wants it her way or no way at all. Whining, screaming, crying, peeing to bed (and in my bed at that), saying "she's not my friend then" (when she doesn't get to play with someone), and I could go on for days. But I won't. Man she is being a real brat. I don't know what to do with her anymore. I am going to sit her down in the morning and have a real long talk with her and if that don't help, LOOK OUT NEIGHBORS!!!!

Dag-nabit!!

Dag-nabit almost a whole week since I last blogged anything.

Well Lillian left for Tennessee on Monday June 16. I am missing her beautiful freckly face right now. She has emailed a few times. I tried to call her but she was watching tv and wouldn't talk. Love ya Lil!!!

Lukas, Jacob, Dad and I went to the lake from Wednesday to Friday. The weather was so nice. We took so many walks and the kids rode their bikes. We went fishing and played at Eastbank Park. Just a nice week here.

We went to the Drive-In on Friday night to see Indiana Jones and Drillbit Taylor. I asked Dad if we could turn the van around backwards and lay the seat down for the kids and we could sit in our chairs and watch the movies (which we never tried before cause Lukas was too small last year). Well my swift idea. Lukas fell out of the van into the (large chunky) gravel on his head. Oh my gosh----he had the biggest hugest nastiest knot on his head. We did not leave. He calmed down and finally went to sleep. His head still looks horrible. Poor Punkyman! Both movies were ok. Jacob really wanted to see Indiana Jones. I guess he will have to wait till it comes out on video cause he didn't last one whole movie. They all were out.

Just a little inside joke. I hate the word Dag-nabit. My mom says it all the time and my kids have picked up on it and say it alot.

Tattooed and tired

Saturday Lukas and I picked the girls up from the sleepover around 11am. Kiarra and Jacey ended up going with us to Walmart. **5 kids crazy at walmart** We went home, the kids played and I did some things around the house. Jacob came home from The Beach with his Uncle Tommy. They had so much fun. Lillian went with her dad for the weekend.

Sunday Jacob, Payton and I went to see Kung Fu Panda. It was a cute movie. Jacob loved it. Payton didn't. She wanted to go swimming instead, but we just didn't have time for that. We went to my sister's house for dinner and a little swim. I also got a tattoo last night. Here it is:

Just another day. . . .

Jacob finished up his long week at Cub Scout Day Camp. Lukas and I went to see him at day camp on Friday. It was so stinkin' hot. Jacob spent the night at his Uncle Tommy (his dad's brother) and went to The Beach today. He had so much fun. I am so glad his Uncle Tommy loves him so much and wants to spend time with him.

The girls were going to a friend's sleepover party last night and I ended up staying and chit chatting until late. I think they had like 18 kids there. What a crazy mess. I think I am done with sleepovers for my kids b-day parties. I am thinking of different ideas for next year. Any ideas anyone????

Puppies*kids*softball*& more

Lillian found a puppy running around our neighbors front yard. It was about 5:30pm on Monday evening. We were getting ready to go to my mom's house to visit. First thing from my 9 year olds mouth "CAN WE KEEP IT MOM PLEASE!!!!". You know it has to be someone's pet, I told her. So she took this cute little black and white Boston Terrier for a little walk up and down the sidewalk on one of our leashes. I told her we would hang on to him till we found where he belonged. So we took him to my mom's house and this little puppy had the most fun with Jackie (mom's Jack Russell) you would ever think two dogs could have. So we came home about 8:15-8:30pm. I told Lillian to walk him down to the next block and come back. If he belonged in our neighborhood someone is bound to be out looking for him. So she didn't even get to the next block and some guy was riding his bike and he stopped right by Lillian and she said "I this your dog". He told her it was and they came walking down to me. We chit chatted for a few minutes. I told them, my neighbors, go figure, we had a blast taking care of him for 3 hours. Lillian felt so good for doing a good deed for this young family. She is growing up so fast. I am going to miss her. She will be gone for four weeks to Tennessee with her dad for summer break visit.

Lillian has had Girl Scout Day Camp this week. Just Monday through Wednesday. She's having so much fun. It sucks she can't stay and camp-out with them tonight. She has four softball games this week. She had one on Tuesday evening. They have a double-header tonight. She is gonna be a tired grouchy butt tonight.

Jacob has had Cub Scout Day Camp this week. His Day Camp is five days. He hasn't been back to his baseball games. We decided he just isn't the sport-man type. He won't pay attention and focus. I know he is only a seven year old boy, but you just know when someone is not interested. Jacob will be going to The Beach waterpark this weekend with his Uncle Tommy and Aunt Amy (dad's brother and sister in law)

Payton spent the night with a friend and had been a trooper being in the van traveling running the kids everywhere this week.

Lukas is getting so big. My gosh, I looked through some pictures today. Wow has he shot up just in the last few months. He loves the pool, and swinging on his swingset. He is getting more interested in bikes, the more the older kids ride their's.

Speaking of which. Jacob has started riding his big bike. We got him a big bike for his birthday in January. The one he wanted and a helmet. Well every nice day he could go ride we would suggest he ride his bike to get used to it and have fun. Oh no!! He said he was scared cause it was big and it didn't have pedal brakes. Well he got it out of the garage the other day and starting riding it, all on his own. I was so proud of him. He is getting so big too. He will be in second grade already. Geesh, seems like just yesterday I was putting him on the bus to Preschool.

Strawberry disaster!!

Well Payton didn't win Little Miss Strawberry. I wanted her too so bad. She looked so cute in her pretty dress. The weather was horrible. It was raining and hot. There was about 150-200 people crammed into a little room. It was so crummy.

My sunburn is making me so miserable and bitchy today. I just wanted my kids to go stay elsewhere but that didn't work out either. As usual nothing ever does for me it seems.

Way too long......

I have not blogged in way too long. So much has been going on so I'll have to catch you up a little at a time.

One major thing that has happened is Daddy had nose surgery. He had to get his Septum fixed so he could breathe. So he has been home 24-7 for the last week and a half driving me nuts. He is all better though and going back to work tonight.

Lillian had a softball game last night and she hit the ball. Yay-hoo!!!!!!! I was so happy-so was she!! They still lost by one point though.

It has been so hot here. We went to the pool on thursday and got bad sun-burns. Then our ding-dong butts went swimming again yesterday and added to it. Man it's hard to sleep at night when I can't roll around and get comfy.

Payton is in the Strawberry Festival-Little Mr & Mrs. Strawberry Pageant today. It has been sprinkling all morning so hopefully it will let us have a little peace. I doubt it though.
